Life Cover - Cheaper than you think

How much is Life Insurance Cover?

It’s not as expensive as you might think!

A large proportion of Irish parents have little or no life insurance cover to pay out a lump-sum to replace their income in the event of death – Are you one of them? Extensive research has shown that there are many reasons why people do not take out life insurance cover on themselves. So how much is life insurance cover and why do so many parents not have a life insurance policy? Here we deal with the three main reasons:

You may think that Life Insurance Cover is too expensive. Well, the costs might surprise you. We’ve done quotes for three different ages for cover of €250k over a term of 20 years for a non-smoker.

  • A 55 year old would pay €115 per month.
  • A 45 year old would pay much less, €40 per month.
  • And a 35 year old could secure this cover for just €19 each month.

You may not know how much life insurance cover you need. Well, that’s where an independent finanial advisor can come in and advise you, based on your circumstances. But, if you would rather do your own research then many of the Life Assurance providers have handy online tools to help you. For your convenience we’ve attached a link to Zurich Life’s Life Cover Calculator to give you a guide but please come back to us and we will fine tune things for you.

You may want an individual quote. If you would like to get a price, in the comfort of your own home so you have the space and time to decide without pressure from anyone, then try our instant life insurance quotes engine and we will give you an online quote in a matter of minutes at anytime of the day or night.

After you have reviewed your life assurance quote you can contact us when you are ready to discuss your life insurance needs in more detail.

It not just a question of how much does life insurance cost. Human nature also has a part to play in why people don’t have life insurance cover in place. Many of us don’t want to even think about what would happen to our families if we were to die and how they would cope financially.

Don’t put off having this important conversation – it might be the most important one you will ever have!
